Having had the iMac for a couple of weeks went and installed Leopard on Saturday (I took a break from preparing my accounts for the upcoming tax return!).
The installation took about an hour and went smoothly. My primary interest in Leopard was the combination of better parental controls (it is now the only computer that my kids use) and the new version of Bootcamp built in. This allows XP to be installed as well as OS X.
This evening I am working my way through the XP install and will then start to load Windows games - my son is looking forward to that!
UPDATE - XP install completed and first Windows game up and running. Could this be the precursor to a full switch? Only time will tell - my main PC has a couple of years left in it so tune back in around 2009!
PS - to all the fanboys out there. The positioning of the 3 USB ports (yes 3 - where the *** are you supposed to put your peripherals? I have 15 USB ports on my PC and use all of them) at the reverse of the iMac is just plain dumb.
While making for a very slick front exterior these are almost impossible to use without swiveling the whole machine around to plug things in. Dumb design.
