I want to introduce more skirts into my wardrobe. I am in my late 50’s (legs still in good nick) but I am unsure about what sort of tights to wear. Should I go for opaque or are they for younger ladies? Thanks for your help, Anna.

If I were you I would wear them as black opaque tights are very flattering and are a good choice when wearing a shorter length skirt. They hide any imperfections on the legs nicely but can still look sexy worn with the right length shirt and a pair of heels.
They will also bring your look bang up to date as opaque tights have made a big revival this winter and you will see a good choice in the shops. Check out Goods Accessory department in the basement for a wide range of brands. Go for it!
