Dear Martina,
I love the corsages that came with tops and jackets a while ago but I don’t see people wearing them any more. I don’t see them in the shops either - would I look a bit dated if I continue to wear mine? Thanks Annie.
I am always talking about corsages and how they add a little something special to a plain jacket or top - you should wear yours with confidence if you like them and you will have an individual style. You will see corsages starting to appear in the shops again as they are always popular for summer. Try Accessorize in Monsoon - they have some in stock and also The Butterslip Boutique (on the lane of the same name) have some gorgeous silk corsages/brooches which will definitely jazz up an outfit - these are some very special pieces. Enjoy wearing yours.

Dear Martina,
I am getting married in a week and am desperately trying to find a beautiful fabric ivory corsage to add to my wedding dress ( a last minute decision but I know it would look super) and I can't get one. The wedding shops say you have to get the designer making your dress to make one for you and that's too late! Any ideas where I could find one please. Many many thanks

My husband and I are invited to his company's annual awards banquet August 12th. The invitation states business casual. Normally I would wear the safe "BLACK DRESS". Most of the men including my husband will wear a nice pair of trousers, a open neck shirt with a summer blazer. This event will last over three days with the banquet being the main event. I want to look stylish and chic. Any suggestions?
Also, I have recently purchased a precious summer skirt in a chocolate and cream leaf print design. I'm having trouble matching the browns with a top. The shoes I plan on wearing with this skirt are a chocolate brown pair of summer wedges. I don't want to go overboard on brown. So, what other color top could I wear to make this skirt POP? Sometimes I don't have enough confidence in color choices.
Thanks,
Tonya
